So I sign online and the top story that flashes on the news is that Seattle's experiencing its 24th consecutive day of rain. Forcasters are saying there's no break on the horizon. It's predicted to break the record of 33 days. Usually, they say, it will rain for about a week, and then just be cloudy and gray for a couple days before it starts up again. Oh yes, that's much better. Maybe it will all be out of its system by the time I get there?? :-/ Well, it's raining here too today.
The move's been postponed a week. My Dad has to go on an unexpected business trip to SEATTLE of all places, so we have to wait until he gets back to go down and say goodbye. Can't leave without saying goodbye to the folks. Meanwhile we're trying to figure out the best way to get our stuff out there, or decide if we even should take our stuff out there.
